If you like Stephen King, you’ll like this. Personally I got bored with a lot of King books and adaptations and 1408 was no different. I’ve always enjoyed John Cusak but in 1408 he seemed to be completely OTT. Maybe not his fault because that’s what the script called for.

A good film with one of the most superbly crafted soundtracks that I have heard in ages. An Occult Thriller that is well made with few tricks and where the story is told simply and well, focusing on the characters rather than gimmicks.
