Fracture Independent Film Review Cover If you look close enough, you’ll find everyone has a weak spot. I am a huge Anthony Hopkins fan and have been ever since Silence of the lambs, one of my top 20 movies of all time. His role in fracture is similar to that which he plays all too often yet never seems to get old. Fracture is a very clever movie with some tantalizing twists, There is nothing better than having a movie do a 360 on you, then again, then again. Fracture does this perfectly with a fine balance of great acting, superb character development and great mind games that the viewer can really get into.

Gosling does an equally good job playing the DEA all star prosecutor, my only small peeve is the unnecessary romance subplot, completely detracts from the head-to-head whit fest that is completely entertaining and a joy to watch….

This movie didn’t do as well as I thought it would, It’s surprising when you look at the current drivel been thrust upon us at the moment; refer to our Wildhogs or Firstborn reviews.

Fracture delivers, big time. It’s a clever, thought provoking whit-fest that should keep you glued to your seat and completely engrossed. If it doesn’t, I’ll buy you a Pabst. 8.5/10
