This film is a collection of every cliche and predictable story element that one would expect from a creative team that have probably never watched a decent film noir or have any film culture except for 1980’s horror films. It is actually quite funny because you can loose yourself in the plot along with the writing and the writer (hahahah).

Interesting review of the film. I have just watched it and I have to say, I was quite imprisoned, considering that I am a “movieholic” and a fan of noir movies and seen a lot of them. After watching it the theme kept me into a cloudy atmosphere for some time,as you are right the theme has been played before, but there’s something about this performance that keeps the audience up : the expectence of the unexpected! You expect the main character to be an outlaw and influence lives on the backstreets of conscience, instead Joe influences Fleur to take “the right path, by going back to her daughter. We expect him to kill her, instead you know who does it….., and the ending is quite fascinating as we find out who killed Kimba ,too….. and the torrid affair leaves you breathless as they both explore themselves….I’d give and 8.5 from 10. Great stuff!
